Yeppoon (2 Apr – 7 Apr 15)

We spent Easter at the Capricorn Palms Holiday Park in Yeppoon right on the Tropic of Capricorn. It was a really family friendly park & the girls made some more new friends. Whilst it was quite wet for the first few days, the rain didnt seem to deter the activities on offer. The park had a massive water slide, which kids & adults alike queued for what seemed like an eternity for, but it was worth the wait. Every night was movie night in the massive outdoor cinema, where the movie goers were only outnumbered by the mozzies!!

We also visited the Koorana Crocodile Farm, where we saw some massive Saltwater crocodiles up close.  We also got to see some baby Crocs hatching, as well as the girlst getting the chance to hold a small 3 year old croc.  Cute now but not for much longer hey!!

We had a great stay here & left full of chocolate courtesy of the Easter Bunny.
