Bye bye bikes! The girls’ bikes have travelled 37,000kms over 11-months.

They have been ridden in so many awesome places and certainly been a great activity with new friends met in your regular caravan park. We are always amazed that the bikes keep on lasting. The road travel certainly has trashed them, chains are always falling off, brakes seem to fail often, the gear componentry shot, but the bikes have still delivered.

That said, Lucia & Chelsea farewelled their bikes today on our departure from Denmark. We only have around 4-weeks until home and a lot of that last leg will be many overnight stops up to Kalgoorlie and across the Nullarbor. Daz does most of the hard yards with hooking the bikes up & down, gets a bit pi*#+d off at times, and always ends up filthy. This letting go of their bikes is the girls’ gift to Dad!
