Welcome to the deRoss-Field travel blog for 2015. We left our home on December 27th, 2014 to head off around this beautiful country we live in for 12-months. The kids are enrolled in Australia School and all that it has to offer. This website is set up so you can follow us along the way and share in our experiences. The kids will be posting all sorts of goodies too and we hope everyone enjoys it.

We are a young family of 4, taking the blessed opportunity to travel around Australia, stepping out of regular life for a whole year. We can’t believe it is finally happening after 2 years in the planning, and nearly 2 decades in the dreaming. Lucia is now 9 and would be in Year 5 at school this year. Chelsea is 7 and would be in Year 3. Both girls will now be home schooled for the year and are looking forward to travelling to different places and making lots of new friends. Raelene has abandoned ship at her clinic & is looking forward to a year of baking, making, princess naps & all things outdoors. Darryl hopes to play golf in some exciting and unusual places.
